There was tension at Bufunjo sub county head quarters when the sub county headquarters conference hall was blown off by wind due to shoddy work.
According to John Bosco Tibeha a service delivery Monitor in the area revealed that the hall was blown off while it was being occupied by VHTs, C/men LCIIs who had a training and market dwellers who had taken cover from heavy rains.
According to Tibeha the roof was has been attributed to the shoddy work as the building look not to have a round beam and pains that would have strengthened the roof. poorly constructed by the local leaders.
The incident occurred at around 4:30pm.
No person has been reported injured. 3/4 of the roof have been blown off which has caused damage to some property and documents that were in this hall and the offices behind the hall.
Residents have urged the leaders not to renovate this building this time since this is the second time in a period of less than five years and the fact that the building is weakened since the cement ratio was not standard.
